Robert Dumont-Duparc

Robert Dumont Duparc born in 1886 at Falaise (Calvados) and spent his working life in and around Paris. He was appointed official painter of French navy in 1906.

He specialised in painting landscapes and seascapes in oils.

Dumont-Duparc exhibited his work at the Salon of French Artists between 1928 and 1930. Featured works by him include, “Newfoundland Schooner in Sail” and “Halong Bay in the Gulf of Tonkin”.
