Through our 50 years of framing experience, we have learnt that the optimal enjoyment of paintings and artefacts depend upon the quality of their presentation.
At Victoria Framing the techniques and materials used in our frame making processes are very similar to the early days. They are all bespoke using traditional techniques, to any specification. They are hand-finished using the traditional methods of gilding, gold-leaf, veneering and paint-finishing.
We understand that we are required to make frames that span time frames from the Italian Renaissance Cassetta frame, to the twentieth century Gluck frame and, often through our work with interior designers, some more avant-garde designs.
We are always conscious that styles are fluid and progressive and we work closely with our clients to present each work of art to its full potential. We are passionate about finding new and exciting ways to display your artwork to its full potential.
At Victoria we are also able to provide the finest antique, period and vintage frames with an inventory of over 1000 frames. Our stock is from all over the world giving us access to many different designs and genres. This provides museums, collectors, dealers and auctioneers worldwide a wonderful selection of original frames to use or draw inspiration from.
