Adolphe WEISZ

Born on 11 May 1838 in Budapest and then moved to France and became a naturalised French citizen

He was a painter of genre, figures and portraits.

He was a pupil of Ch. Jalabert and was a member of the Society of French Artists. He was awarded a third class medal in 1875 a second class in 1885 and in 1900 at the Universal Exposition a Bronze Medal

His works have been in the museums of Draguignan, Liseux, and Pontoise

His paintings have been auctioned throughout France and the UK
