He was born on 12 February 1826 in Bordeaux and died in 1904 in Paris

Seignac was a French painter of genre and portraits and he was a pupil of Picot. He had his debut exhibition in 1849 and he was awarded an honourable mention in 1889

His works have been in the Museums of Ajaccio with a piece titled “The Nun” and at Rheims with “Young Woman Winding a clock”.

His works have been auctioned throughout Europe, the UK and the USA
