Born in 1821 and died on 14 October 1898 in Paris
French painter of genre scenes and portraits.
He was a pupil of Charles Comte and exhibited at the Paris Salon in 1865 and was awarded a third class medal in 1874.
He has had works in the following museums Mulhouse, Nice, Saverne and Strasborg.
His works have been predominantly auctioned in France.
