Painter in oil of rural landscapes and coastal scenes who was working before the First World War. He also used another pseudonym of A. Wynne and many of his subjects were of views of Essex, but he also painted in Wales, Warwickshire, Kent, Surrey and Sussex. Typical of his works were titles which included ‘A View near Braintree’, ‘A Wayside Cottage’, and ‘On The River Lluwy, Bettws-y-Coed’, an example can be seen in the publication Hidden Talents by Jeremy Wood.
