A prolific painter of Landscapes, Marines and an animal painter

His work has a distinctive style and is similar to that of Frank Hider/ His subjects are often in pairs and usually Cornish coastal scenes, beach scenes, highland landscapes with cottages in a rural setting. He did not often inscribe his work with the location but it was usually signed dated with the signature scratched in the wet paint. He sometimes signed with a monogram
