Biography of Artist

Born on the 11th January 1858 in Paris where he died on the 25th August 1928.

Huber was a renowned painter of animals and still lives. He is especially famous of his scenes involving a number of kittens creating mischief.

He studied at the School of Beaux-Arts under Dawant and Jules Grun and obtained a special mention in 1903.

During this period of art there were several artists who painted similar scenes all of very good quality, Jules Leroy from France and Henriette Ronner from Holland.
