Marguerite Mary DARBOUR

She was born in Florence and was a painter of figures, nudes, portraits and landscapes.
Darbour showed her work at the “Salon des Independants” and later in 1903 she became a member of the society associated with it. She also showed her work at the Salon des Tuileries from 1920 and at the Salon of the Society of National Fine Art of which she also became a member in 1922.
Listed titles of her work include: “Woman with a Mirror”, “Recumbent Nude” (1926) and “Symbolist Woman”.
