Karl CARTIER

French School

Born on 5th September 1855 in Paris and died in 1925

Landscape painter, he was a pupil at the school of Beaux Arts in Paris and had his first exhibition at the Salon in 1875. He was awarded a medal in the University Exposition in 1889

He sometime used the pseudonym of F. Bataille

He painted mostly river and boat scenes and his painting have been in the Bourges Museum in France

His painting have been sold in various sales in Europe
