Edmond BORCHARD

Born In 1848 in Bordeaux and died in 1922 in Paris

French painter of genre scenes, landscapes and marines

He was a pupil of Brandon, Cabanel, Debuffe, Mazerolle and Van Marcke from 1870 to 1921

He was a member of the School of French Artists where he was awarded a second class medal in 1889 and a bronze at the 1889 and 1900 Universal Exposition. He was made a Legion d’Honneur in 1914

His works have been auctioned in New York
