Charles Boland

Biography of Artist

Born in the middle of the 19th Century in Spa, Belgium.

He was a painter of animals, genre scenes, landscapes and portraits.

He was a pupil of the Antwerp Academy and one of the founder members of the young artists circle known as ‘Als ik kan’ in 1883.

He exhibited at the triennial Exhibitions in Antwerp, Ghent, and Brussels.
